The HUMAN Project
Education for Life and Dignity
A World Youth Alliance “Decade of Dignity and Development” Project What do you hold as the purpose of education? What about its content? What are the roles of your family, the civil society and the state? What would you like to say to Europe's leaders about our education and values?
Formal and informal education in the spheres of citizenship and human rights, sexuality, ethics and religion are causing debates all over Europe. New challenges through global and sometimes controversial programs call for new answers involving education that addresses values and the dignity of the person.
In order to achieve the integral development of the individual person and society as a whole, the aim of the HUMAN project is to generate ideas and to promote a fruitful exchange of thoughts and opinions. Young people will address Europe’s leaders and specialists in order to establish an outcome regarding the real challenges that European youth is facing nowadays in the area of education. At the same time this project will help young people to gain knowledge about their realities, their opportunities and the way in which they can make a change and make themselves heard whether they do it through advocacy, cultural activities or social work.
